It is important to remember that a roof replacement job is a major construction project that will affect not just your roof, but your entire property. Heavy equipment, materials, and multi-person crews will be onsite for the entirety of the project. We always recommend removing any outdoor items that could easily be damaged or may interfere with our crews ability to easily access the roof. This includes, but is not limited to: string lights, exterior decor, outdoor furniture, small statues, bird houses/feeders, etc. While it may seem a bit of a hassle, it is the best way to ensure your items are safe from damage while this major construction is happening. Additionally, we recommend that you take the same precautions with any valuables you may have hanging on the walls inside your home. Again, heavy materials, equipment, and crews will be on the roof. This may cause things on your walls to shift during the construction process. Finally, we do not recommend allowing children or pets outdoors during construction. It is very easy for materials and debris to fall off the roof and can present a dangerous situation around the perimeter of your home. Always take into consideration how this major construction may affect your family members and plan accordingly.
